Captain's Log

Over half way through the season and third in the league.  Not bad, but it is disappointing to lose the top spot especially when we have played so well. Bad news this week is that we've lost Malcolm Crooks and Kev Martin for the rest of the season.  Malcolm is in hospital with a serious calf injury, and Kev is awaiting an operation.  These are key players who will be hard to replace. Glad to see the turnout for training over the festive season was excellent.  People are obviously inspired by the new coaching set up and that reflects in their desire to train hard and perform well. First Team team-build day at Saints was good fun, especially as Jon footed the bill.  Cheers Jon! This weekend (January 22nd) we play host to Leighton Buzzard.  This is never an easy contest, usually very physical, and lots of ice will be on tap for Sunday morning!
